Alternative Music from Germany

Germany has a rich music history going back to historic icons such as Beethoven, Bach and Wagner.  Though the early history of German music was dominated by the classics, there was popular music enjoyed by sectors of society.  In the early twentieth century German music broke further ground and came under the influence of American and British music.  German music was come a long way and has established its hold on the world charts.  This week I will feature some truly great German bands of today.
