We Were Promised Jetpacks (Scotland)

This week featuring Scotland

WE WERE PROMISED JETPACKS

This is my favourite Scottish band – saw them in concert last week.  We Were Promised Jetpacks formed in Edinburgh in 2003.  In 2009 the band released their debut album “There Four Walls”.  This album had success on the US charts and they toured the US in 2009-2010.  They released their second full length album “In the Pit of the Stomach” in 2011, this album was also met with very positive feedback from critics.  Listening to the on-edge guitars and desperate, angst-fueled lyrics makes this band deserve recognition!
